The Artist

Emmanuelle Cascail is a visual artist whose practice brings together drawing, embossing, painting, writing and installation. Her work is rooted in a deep attentiveness to the living world and to the subtle connections between beings, landscapes and materials. Each creation invites us to slow down, observe and rediscover a more humble and sensitive relationship with the world around us. Her latest body of research takes the Moon as its starting point—not as a territory to be conquered, but as the final threshold in a wider reflection on our relationship with the living world. Through the Moon, the artist questions our tendency to view every new territory as a resource to be claimed and exploited, at the risk of reproducing elsewhere the very mechanisms that have already contributed to the degradation of the Earth. The artwork presented here was selected to extend this exploration through another medium, allowing you to carry a fragment of the artist’s universe with you.

The Artwork

Racines lunaires — Lunar Roots. A tiny human presence. Delicate lines emerge from the pen—almost botanical, almost calligraphic, almost fragile. They branch far beyond what this fragment reveals, weaving invisible connections between the living world, the Earth and the Moon. This detail is an invitation to look further, as the complete artwork tells the story that this image only begins to reveal.

The Tee

Crafted from premium 305 GSM heavyweight cotton, this unisex T-shirt features a relaxed yet structured silhouette, designed to provide a modern drape and excellent shape retention.
